What AgentApt does

AgentApt checks whether AI agents can use a website. The free check reads a public web address and reports what it finds. The full scan sends AI agents to a website to try three jobs — reach the business, book with it and buy from it — twice each, and reports what happened.

What we collect

Free check. The web address you enter, and the results of the check: for example whether the site has a robots file, a contact form, a published email address, structured data, and tracking that runs before anyone consents. We don't keep the pages we fetch during a free check; we keep the results.

Your account and scan requests. To request a full scan you sign in, so we keep the email address on your account. You can sign in with an email and password, or with Google. For each scan request we keep the web address; whether the site is your own, a client's, or a trial; whether it is one location or a group, and any locations you add; your confirmation that you're authorized to have the site scanned, with the date, time and the version of the text you confirmed; and the payment status, amount, any promotion code and the payment session ID.

When you contact us. If you write to us through the contact page, we keep your name, email address and message, and the internet address it was sent from, to limit spam. If you ask us to fix what we found, we keep the email address, phone number and message you give us.

What our agents record during a scan. For each agent run we keep the agent's report in its own words, a record of each step it took, screenshots of the pages it saw, timings, and the settings used. A screenshot can include anything shown on the page the agent was looking at.

Payments. Payments are handled by Stripe on Stripe's own payment page. We don't receive or store card numbers.

Cookies and visit statistics

Our website host, Lovable, runs a visit counter on our pages. It sets a cookie named session-id that lasts 30 minutes, and records the page you visit, the page you came from, and your browser and language. We use it to see how the site is used.
Cloudflare, which delivers our site, sets a short-lived cookie named __cf_bm to help block automated abuse.
Lovable also sets a cookie named __dpl that lasts 24 hours.
When you sign in, your browser stores a sign-in token so that you stay signed in.
We don't use advertising cookies.

How we use information

To run the free check and the full scan, and to write your report and fix plan.
To email you about your scan. These are service emails.
To review each report before we release it to you.
To take payment, provide the included rescan, and keep a record that you confirmed you're authorized.
To reply when you contact us or ask us to fix something.
To test and improve AgentApt, using scan records.
After a scan, we may email you to follow up, for example about a full scan or about having us fix what we found. You can unsubscribe from these emails at any time.

How our agents behave on a website

Six AI agents visit the site in a real web browser: three jobs, two attempts each.
The agents are instructed to act like a customer. They fill in forms with obvious test details (for example the name Testing Testing and the email testing@example.com), work through booking or checkout, and stop before the final step.
They are instructed never to send a form, complete an order, pay, sign in or create an account, and never to contact the business any other way. These are instructions to AI agents. Our tools also stop the agents from opening email, phone and text-message links.
Agents may follow a site's own links to other websites, for example to a booking or ordering service the site uses.
The agents use a standard web browser and don't identify themselves as AgentApt.
Before each full scan, the person requesting it confirms that they're authorized to have the site scanned.

Who we share information with

We use these service providers to run AgentApt, and give each only what it needs to do its part:

Anthropic, whose Claude AI models run the agents and help write and check reports. Anthropic receives the content of the pages the agents visit, screenshots, and the agents' records.
Browserbase, which runs the web browser the agents use and records each browser session.
Lovable, which hosts our website, database, file storage and sign-in, and sends our emails.
Cloudflare, which delivers our website.
Render, which runs our scan engine.
Stripe, which handles payments.

We don't sell your personal information. We may share information if the law requires it, or with a buyer if our business is sold.

Who can see your reports

Your full report and fix plan open only when you're signed in to your account.
A free-check result can be opened by anyone who has its link.
AgentApt staff can see scan requests, reports and scan records, to run the service and review reports before release.

Security

Scan records are kept in private storage and opened through short-lived links.
Your scan requests can be read only by your account.
Our scan engine connects to our site with a secret key.

How long we keep information

We keep your account, scan requests, reports, scan records and free-check results until you ask us to delete them.

Your choices

To see, correct or delete your information, email sean@agentapt.io. We'll reply within 30 days.

If you own a website we scanned

A scan can leave visits in your site's logs, and test details in forms or carts our agents started but didn't send. If you want us to stop scanning your website, email sean@agentapt.io and we will.

Children

AgentApt is a service for businesses and isn't meant for anyone under 18.

Where we operate

We're based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
